Merge in this widget multiple feeds and audio and video podcasts you are interested in. A feed reader and an audio and video player are integrated in the widget. You can filter the elements displayed. The layout is the same as the native netvibes feed widget, but there are more thumbnails as images are detected in the feed. You can organize the content in up to 5 columns. You can find more information about this widget (in English and French) on http://www.viesurip.fr/en/mes-projets/widgets-uwa/lecteur-de-flux-20/ .

hi, works just perfect, but i have one problem: if i click on a feed entry, the space for the content is too small. i would need to edit the height of the widget. is that possible? thanx

best... widget... evah... been looking for this a long time thank you! Is like having category specific simple mini google readers in your page! Thank you! One note/suggestion Cannot delete a feed from "manage feeds" or change it. To remove a feed you have to start over as far as i can tell.............. ! THANKS AGAIN

There is a problem with multiple columns in Windows Internet Explorer 7: shows only when one column is set. Doesn't show contents if more columns are set. Works great on Firefox.

Thanks Berrichou :) @danielveronese: The bug seems to have disappeared by itself. Let's hope it won't appear again...

Yeah, I don't understand the problem. It happens only in Netvibes environment and I haven't changed anything in my code. I'm yet trying to understand...

i think i found another bug: everytime i move the module up, down, left, whatever it loses the feeds. tip: with too much feed you cant move this module in one tab too another, put some and move or copy the url directly in the tab that you want :) i forgot to tell that is a great module!!! thanks

The widget looses the feeds I added any time I leave the page. Can someone tell me what might be the problem?

Hi, I have seen the random XML error. I think it's a problem with my web host. Try this URL instead: http://www.viesurip.fr/projets/uwa/feedsReader/feedsReader.html I am trying to update the URL in the ecosystem too.

doesn't work getting XML errors # CData section not finished var FEEDS ={baseUrl: 'http://twisterss.free.fr/api at line 195: widget.prefer

I get an XML error for the widget display, either in the ecosystem and in my netvibes. See screenshot : http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/9499/ishot1zb3.png

Hi again, I have added an optional integrated search box in the widget (feature wanted by labcal). You just have to activate it in the widget's preferences. This will allow users on other platforms than netvibes to search their feeds.

Hi, it is now possible to modify the title of a feed: just click on the title of the feed in feeds management, and write what you want. This feature is a bit hidden in order to keep the widget simple for new users.

Hi, I have added the tooltip to show details about an item in minimal display mode. I will see how I can add the feature to modify the title of a feed without making the widget more complicated. For the integrated search box, I don't see the use of it as you can use the netvibes search box to search in this widget (ok, it's not available in the other environments...) Tell me if there are problems with the tooltip.

Its a great widget... but it would be even more helpful if you could optionally name the feeds you add... I add a lot of UPS/Fedex/USPS tracking number RSS feeds, and I would love to be able to name the feed according to what I know shipment is, instead of just a number that the feed title gives... Thanks...

hi... any chance of having an integrated search box inside this widget ?
21 | Posted by stainless | 02/04/2008 3:09:38
Twisterss, How about instead of a tool tip, expand the content like iGoogle's default rss box. Click on an arrow - content full feed content expands under the article title. Cheers.

The missing search results were due to a bug. It should be fixed now. For the tooltip, I can't make something that displays out of the widget, so I have to think of an other way to display the content...

Another missign feature is the search. When you use the search in page your widget does not display the search result that may appear in the RSS feeds. SeB.

Great widget, but I really miss the tooltip of the official Netvibes widget that show the details of the news without having to click on it. Thank anyway. SeB.
